A Chelan native, Lindsay Evans is thrilled to be returning to her hometown after more than 15 years away, and bringing with her a passion for baking, her beautiful family of four, and a love of the deep blue waters of Lake Chelan. Lindsay has a bachelors in geology from Western Washington University. After graduating she married Luke Evans and the two moved to Twisp, Wa where they started their family and Lindsay’s passion for baking was stoked working at the Cinnamon Twisp bakery. Lindsay has since been teaching at Little Star Montessori school. She is pumped to turn her attention back to her passion of baking, and bring something special to Lake Chelan’s many residents and visitors.

 

Logo LCABLuke Evans is excited to bring his entrepreneurial instincts, and fine carpentry skills to this endeavor. Luke has a degree in Environmental Planning from Western Washington University’s Huxley College. He has made his living building high end custom homes in the Methow Valley.

Lake Chelan Artisan Bakery is located in Chelan Plaza at 246 W. Manson Hwy in Chelan, Washington.  Our summer hours are 7 days a week, 7am – 4pm (closing at 3pm on Sundays).  Off season, we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, open Wednesday – Saturday 7am – 3pm and Sunday 7am – 2pm.  Give us a call at 509-682-BAKE (2253)

    We just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that we are thinking of you,
    your darling family, Alex and the rest of your terrific staff during this difficult time
    with the wild fires. We hope you all and your families are all safe and sound.

    1. Thank you Elaine and Bruce! We were up and running again soon following the fires and power outage. What a crazy event for our community. Luckily, all of us at the bakery have homes that are safe and sound, so now we are just trying to get back to normal. Thank you for your thoughtful concern and we will SEE YOU SOON!

  2. Lindsey- I see you are going to be open next week Mon-tues and till noon Christmas eve – what’s the bread schedule going to be for those days?
    Going to be doing any of the roasted garlic sourdough? That would be great with the prime rib and king crab I’m doing for Christmas eve.
    Oh, BTW- the dinner rolls we took to Shelly’s Mom’s home for Thanksgiving were outstanding!!!! They also made great little left over turkey sandwiches!

    1. Hi Mark! We will have the roasted garlic sourdough on Tuesday the week of Christmas. I also made some today (we were all missing it) and I believe there is at least one loaf left that you could get tomorrow! Let me know if you want me to write down an order for you for the sourdough or more rolls so we can be sure you get them. Thanks Mark!

      Last year we opened for business 7 days a week in early to mid May. Likely this year will be similar. The actual date will depend on business and our ability to train new employees. Thank you!

    I’m getting married at Karma in October with a fall theme. I’d love to have fresh apple hand pies for dessert. Around 50-60. Do you make them.

    1. Hi there, we offer Blue Star coffee locally roasted in Twisp, Wa. We serve their Highway 20 blend drip coffee and offer a full line of iced or hot espresso drinks. We do not make a cold brew coffee but our espresso is the best in town!

    1. You bet we are, Mark! Just give the bakery a call to let us know how many you need. We will have French and Buttermilk Wheat rolls available to pick up at noon on Wednesday the 23rd, but you’ll need to give us a call so we can take your order. Thank you!
